The Director-General of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, on Monday inspected the Presidential Campaign Council office in Abuja as preparations for the 2027 presidential election gather momentum.

The former governor of Zamfara State was received by Hon. James Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives.

Faleke disclosed the visit in a post on his X account, saying Yari and his team toured the facilities and structures already put in place at the campaign office.

Also present during the inspection were Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang; Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; and former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari.

The visit comes as political activities and preparations for the 2027 presidential election intensify, with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) expected to commence broader mobilisation and campaign planning ahead of the poll.

Faleke said the inspection provided an opportunity for the campaign leadership to assess the facilities and structures established to support the council’s activities ahead of the election.
