The Directorate of Organisation of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council has expressed satisfaction with the turnout and smooth conduct of its rally in Kaduna State, urging governors in other states to make adequate preparations for upcoming presidential campaign activities.

Senator Osita Izunaso, Director of Organisation of the council, disclosed this after its inaugural meeting at the National Assembly complex on Wednesday, where members reviewed the Kaduna rally and mapped out strategies for the next phase of the campaign.

Izunaso commended the Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Uba Sani, for its contributions to the successful organisation of the rally.

He said the Council was pleased with the massive turnout and the seamless manner in which the event was conducted.

The director called on governors in other states to emulate the Kaduna government’s efforts by providing the necessary support to ensure successful rallies in their respective states.

“We are pleased with the government of Kaduna State, led by Senator Sani Uba as the governor, for all the efforts they put in the successful conduct of that campaign in Kaduna State. We will also employ our other governors to also prepare very well for the presidential campaign in their various states”, he stated.

He said the Council had developed strategies for the forthcoming rallies as part of the first phase of its presidential campaign.

According to him, the next rally is scheduled to hold in Cross River State on November 2, followed by Gombe State on November 3, Nasarawa State on November 4, and Ekiti State on November 5. The Council will also hold a South-South zonal rally in Port Harcourt on November 7.

Izunaso said the Council had mapped out its mobilisation strategies and was working towards ensuring successful outings across the country.

He further disclosed that the campaign would extend to every state of the federation, expressing confidence that the planned rally in Kano State would attract an even larger crowd than the Kaduna rally.

According to him, Kano’s larger population provides grounds for expecting a higher turnout.

The inaugural meeting marked an opportunity for the directorate to assess its performance in Kaduna and coordinate preparations for the upcoming rallies.
