The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Ms. Caroline Embu, the three-week orientation exercise will be held simultaneously across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ending on August 25, 2026.
The Scheme disclosed that Call-up Numbers have already been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective corps members, while their Call-up Letters will be made available in due course.
Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective corps members on the successful completion of their academic programmes and their mobilisation for the national service year.
He urged the prospective corps members to prioritise their safety while travelling to their respective orientation camps, advising them to avoid night journeys and strictly comply with all travel and safety guidelines.
The NYSC said the orientation programme is designed to prepare corps members for the service year through leadership, civic responsibility, and other activities aimed at promoting national unity and integration.
