The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed its presidential expression of interest and nomination forms at N100 million as it unveiled its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections.
The development was disclosed in a press statement issued in Abuja on April 20, 2026, and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the timetable—signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu—details key activities leading up to the party’s primaries. These include timelines for the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms, screening of aspirants, appeals processes, and the conduct of primary elections across all elective positions.
The party said the release of the schedule is part of early preparations aimed at ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated electoral process ahead of 2027.
The APC reassured its members, stakeholders, and the general public of its commitment to transparency and internal democracy, noting that the outlined processes are designed to produce credible candidates.
It added that strict adherence to the timetable would be enforced to maintain order, fairness, and inclusivity throughout the primary election process.
The ruling party emphasized that the guidelines reflect its resolve to consolidate democratic principles while strengthening its structures ahead of the next general elections.
