The Senior Pastor of Pavilion of Worship Assemblies, Mpape, Abuja, Apostle Itodje Okiemute Godstime, has called on Christians to use the celebration of Christmas as a vital opportunity to promote peace, love, and unity within society.

Apostle Itodje made this call in Abuja on Thursday while Christians around the world commemorated the birth of Jesus Christ. He emphasized that Christmas is not only a season of festivity but a profound reminder of God’s love for humanity, demonstrated through the gift of His Son to the world.

According to him, the message of Christmas should inspire believers to live out the virtues exemplified by Christ—compassion, humility, forgiveness, and selfless love. He urged Christians to extend kindness to the less privileged, reconcile with one another, and become agents of peace in their families, communities, and the nation at large.

The cleric further noted that in a time marked by social, economic, and moral challenges, the world needs the light of Christ more than ever. He encouraged believers to reflect Christ in their words and actions, stressing that genuine unity and lasting peace can only be achieved when individuals embrace the love of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Apostle Itodje concluded by praying for renewed hope, harmony, and divine intervention for Nigeria and the global community, calling on Christians to let the true meaning of Christmas be evident beyond the season.

May the celebration of this season bring joy, love, happiness, peace, and sound mind to you and your loved ones in the name of Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas, Apostle Itodje further stated.
