A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Alhaji Momodu Anidu, has congratulated Joseph Ayegbeni Ugheoke on his emergence as the party’s Zonal Leader for Ekperi Zone.
Alhaji Anidu, who is the APC Ward 6 leader in Ekperi, Etsako Central Local Government Area, described Ugheoke’s emergence as well-deserved and a testament to his leadership capacity, political experience, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the party.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Auchi and Abuja on Monday, March 23, 2026, Anidu noted that the appointment reflects the overwhelming confidence reposed in Hon. Ugheoke by party stakeholders across Edo North.
Hon. Ugheoke currently serves as Executive Director of Commercial and Environmental Development at the South South Development Commission (SSDC).
According to Anidu, Ugheoke’s leadership is expected to further strengthen party cohesion, deepen internal democracy, and promote inclusive participation across all wards and communities within the Ekperi Zone.
“Your emergence signals a new era of coordinated engagement, unity, and progressive political direction for our party in Ekperi.
