The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on his 60th birthday, praising his leadership in shaping effective government communication and promoting national values.

The Director-General of NOA, Lanre Issa-Onilu, commended the minister’s dedication to public service and his role in advancing Nigeria’s national reorientation agenda in line with broader development goals.
Issa-Onilu described the minister as a focused and forward-looking leader whose stewardship has strengthened the information and orientation sector.
He noted that under Idris’ leadership, agencies within the ministry have been better positioned to engage citizens and promote national consciousness.
He added that the minister’s emphasis on civic responsibility, patriotism, and shared national values has helped reshape public discourse, encouraging Nigerians to embrace a stronger sense of unity and responsibility.
According to the NOA boss, improved clarity and consistency in government communication have enhanced public understanding of policies and programmes, fostering a more informed and engaged citizenry.
Issa-Onilu also highlighted the minister’s commitment to truthful and timely information dissemination, noting that this approach has played a key role in countering misinformation and strengthening trust in government institutions.
He further stated that NOA has benefited from the minister’s leadership, which has boosted its grassroots sensitisation efforts across communities nationwide.
