The Legislator representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, has embarked on significant grassroots engagements connectivity and inclusive representation across the constituency.
According to a press release from his Media office on Sunday. The Lawmaker’s day-long itinerary reflected the constituency’s rich social and cultural tapestry, as he seamlessly navigated between traditional, cultural, and community events.
Hon. Obika attended the wedding ceremony of Alhaji Suleiman Musa Ijakoro and his bride, Husnah Musa Ibrahim, held under the auspices of His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr.) Awwal Musa Ijakoro II, the Sarkin Bwari.
The event solidified Hon. Obika’s administration’s partnership with the traditional institution.
As Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Obika participated in the vibrant Iri-Ji (New Yam) cultural festival of the Ikenga Mbosi community in the FCT.
He lauded the community for preserving their cherished traditions and emphasized the importance of cultural heritage in national development.
He also attended the Igbo Community Assembly (ICA) Igbo Day Celebration 2025, commending the Igbo community’s immense contributions to the socio-economic landscape of AMAC/Bwari and the FCT.
He reaffirmed his commitment to representing all constituents without prejudice.
The legislator however joined family, friends, and associates at the 50th Birthday Anniversary of Barr. Maxwell Opara, celebrating personal achievements and acknowledging the strength of the constituency built on individual successes.
