The All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Edo South, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the party’s presidential flag bearer for the 2027 general elections.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Ogbeide-Ihama described Tinubu as “the iroko tree that provides shade for all,” praising his political strength, leadership and enduring influence within the APC.
Tinubu was declared winner of the keenly contested APC presidential primary election held at Eagle Square, Abuja, reaffirming his position as a dominant force in Nigeria’s political landscape.
According to Ogbeide-Ihama, Tinubu’s victory did not come as a surprise, noting that the President remains one of the founding pillars and major drivers of the APC since its inception.
He attributed Tinubu’s success to hard work, resilience and widespread acceptance among party members and supporters across the country.
The Edo South APC flag bearer further described Tinubu as a “political caterpillar” who has continued to navigate political affairs with maturity and inclusiveness, carrying along people from different backgrounds and interests.
“I hail you, Your Excellency, as you have proven once again that you possess the capacity to take Nigeria to the next level,” he stated.
Ogbeide-Ihama also expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership ahead of the 2027 elections, saying his emergence signals continuity, stability and renewed hope for the APC and Nigerians at large.
